It is easy to transfer between the Connect School of Languages and the Connect Business English College.
Choose a program that best suits your goals.. You can upgrade or change courses while in Canada at no extra charge! Our small class size means more personalized attention. You can choose to study from 10 lessons per week to 30 lessons per week. Each lesson is approximately 2 hours. The minimum length of study is 1 week.
Each curriculum is divided
into weekly blocks. The maximum
time students can stay in one
level varies from 4 weeks to 6
weeks depending on the level
of difficulty.

every Friday by their teachers.

Business Integrated Skills
The Business Integrated Skills is excellent if you want to improve your business vocabulary, listening, grammar and reading skills. Connect offers 6 different levels to progress through. Each level is 6 weeks. Each week you complete one unit and one real-life Case Study. You can study for as many weeks as you would like.
Topics include: vocabulary, grammar, listening and reading exercises designed to improve your English structure. The exercises are in the business context and include exercises on globalization, sales, trade, competition and more.

Business Conversation Program
The Conversation Program is designed for students who want to improve their Business English fluency and vocabulary skills. Connect uses an exclusively designed conversation curriculum with 6 levels to progress through. Each day you will study with a new teacher to give ensure you receive a wide variety of conversation styles and opinions. You can study for as many weeks as you would like.
Topics include: negotiation, job interviews, ethics, etiquette, handling complaints, business idioms, socializing, meetings and more!

Business English Diploma
The Business English Diploma is an intensive eight week program for advanced students . Each day you will study for six hours . You will study a wide variety of Business situations from a unique Canadian perspective. It is a challenging program with weekly tests, weekly presentations and weekly reports.
Topics include: Business Law, Banking, Advertising and Marketing and the Stock Market.

Business Writing
The Business Writing program focuses on improving your written English skills. You will complete various writing exercises designed to help you. Each week you complete one unit. The course runs for a maximum 12 weeks .
Topics include: memo writing, email writing, formal and informal letter writing and resume writing.
Start Date: Any Monday Telephone Skills
This course prepares you for telephone use in business. The course focuses on listening to telephone conversations and responding to questions over the telephone. The course runs for 4 weeks only . It is 2 hours in length.
Topics include: telephone etiquette, taking a message, telephone sales and answering enquiries.

Business Presentations

Learn the skills necessary to give presentations in English. Each week you will prepare a presentation. You will learn about what to say, what to wear, what to expect when you give a presentation in English. The course runs for 4 weeks only. It is two hours in length.
Topics include: body language, introductions, presentation expressions and handling questions and answers.
Start Date: Any Monday
Teaching English to Children
This is an intensive four week program.
Each day you will study for four hours in-class. It is an excellent program if you are interested in teaching ESL to children. The course focuses on how to teach children in a fun and interesting way. You will learn various English games and songs to make your classes more lively. Each week you will be planning and teaching lessons.
Topics include: understanding the young learner, using arts and crafts, games and songs to help students learn English, building a lesson plan, teaching theories and classroom discipline.

TESL Diploma (Teaching English as a Second Language)
This course is designed for those of you who are interested in Teaching English to adults in your native country. The program is eight weeks in length. Each day you will study for four hours a day. Each week you will be practice teaching and preparing lesson plans. You will gain valuable insight and techniques for teaching.
Topics include: classroom management, lesson planning, how to teach speaking, how to teach grammar and writing, and teaching theories.

Executive English
Connect offers private lessons for Executives who need a short-term yet intensive study program. Programs are tailored to your needs and experience with industry specific-topics tied into the curriculum. Minimum one week registration required. Fees are charged hourly.
