Our Location
Connect School of Languages is located in the centre of Toronto – Bloor and Yonge and we are steps from Yorkville – home of the Toronto International Film Festival.

Close to Connect, you can easily find some of your favourite coffee shops such as Starbucks and some fashionable clothing stores. There are numerous restaurants and pubs in the area. The University of Toronto, Ryerson University and the College of Art and Design are all within a 10-minutes of Connect.

We also recommend that you visit the Toronto Reference Library – a short two-minute walk from Connect. It is one of the largest libraries in Canada.

Hotels such as The Sheraton and The Hilton are close to Connect and excellent places to stay for visitors coming for a short period of time.

 

Public Transportation
The closest subway stop to Connect is "BLOOR/YONGE". It is the main subway station of Toronto and it connects to all subway lines. It is very easy to come to our school.  You can visit www.ttc.ca for public transportation information.

What to do around Connect?
The area around Connect is very active and busy with lots of great places for the students to enjoy without the hassle of getting on and off the subway. After school, you can enjoy a short walk to many great places. Here are some examples of places you can enjoy around Connect:

A 10-Minute Walk from Connect

Eaton Centre - The largest shopping centre in Toronto. A must-see place to visit with hundreds of stores, movie theatres, cafes and more.

Paramount Movie Theatre - the largest movie theatre in Toronto with 13 cinemas. There is also an IMAX theatre.

The Art Gallery of Ontario - enjoy the greatest artists in Canada and the world.

Yonge-Dundas Square - Toronto's version of Time's Square. Home to many fantastic events throughout the year.

The Princess Wales Theatre - see fantastic Broadway-style musicals such as The Lion King.

T.O. Tix Sales Office - get tickets to concerts and musicals for up to 50% off!

CityTV - Home to Toronto's MuchMusic. You never know who might visit CityTV so have your camera ready! From Tom Cruise to Madonna, the big stars always visit Toronto's #1 TV station.

PATH - the world's largest underground shopping complex.

Nathan Phillip's Square - home to some fantastic events including the traditional New Year's Eve countdown.

A 15 Minute Walk from Connect

The CN Tower - the tallest free-standing building in the world. A must-see while in Toronto.

The SkyDome - home to the Toronto Blue Jays, the world-famous SkyDome is fantastic place to see - especially when the Dome is opened!

The Air Canada Centre -home to the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Raptors. You can walk from Connect through the PATH to the Air Canada Centre very easily.

Royal Ontario Museum - Explore and learn about history from the dinosaur and beyond in this wonderful museum. A must-see in Toronto!
