Connect is the first language school in Canada to offer a 1:1 iPad classroom. The iPad is an important part of how students study at Connect. It is their textbook, notebook, dictionary, voice recorder, project maker, library, exam centre and so much more.
We strongly encourage all students to bring their own iPad or purchase one through Connect. Students who do not wish to buy an iPad will have to purchase paper-based workbooks of our lessons. Due to printing costs, paper-textbooks cost almost 50% more than a digital book.
For Woori students, the iPad is NOT included in the tuition fees. It is an add-on option for Woori students. The cost is $350 for an iPad Mini, Wireless, with 16GB memory. Students can upgrade to a better model but the price will increase.
There is no discount for students who bring their own iPad.
Students who receive the iPad through Connect can receive something extra - free Personal Setup.* You can bring your iPad to an any Apple Store and they will help you set up your email, transfer contacts and download apps to make sure it's what you want. Apple can also provide special workshops for new Connect owners. More details will be provided upon your arrival.
